The cooperative movement has played a pivotal role in the well being of vast population of India in general and rural population in particular. The Cooperative Sector has ensured equitable growth for all classes through its vast network spread across the society. Be it agriculture, Dairy, Poultry or fisheries, cooperative sector has been catering to people in a steady and continual manner. With latest advancements in technology, the sector is growing at an exponential rate. Truly we are living in a golden era of cooperation.
Urban Cooperative Banks being under the dual control of the RBI and the RCS, form a special category of Cooperative Society catering to urban and semi urban areas. The KSCUBF, being the apex institution for all UCBs in Karnataka, has been a friend, philosopher and guide and is aiding in the overall development of the Urban Banks in Karnataka. It is the objective of the federation to reach the Urban Banks in form of Training, Publications, Seminars and allied services and thus resulting in over all development.

The Karnataka State Urban Cooperative Banks Federation is the mother organization for UCBs in Karnataka. The federation through its innovative training programs and publications has been delivering up-to-date information to the Urban Banks. The federation has been organizing seminars and training programs at various districts for easy access to the local banks. The recent online training organized by the federation has seen a very good response from the staff of the UCBs. Through its bi monthly and weekly publications, the federation is providing information of latest news and events occurring in the cooperative sector.

With a sole objective of overall development of UCBs in Karnataka, The federation has been organizing various activities. Apart from education and training functions, the federation is providing allied services to its member banks. KSCUBF, has been a pioneer is setting up ABN Court to hear EP cases pertaining to UCBs. Also it has been providing E-Stamping services to public in general by facilitating setting up of E-Stamping centres in member’s banks and their branches. The federation has also been providing consultancy services in the legal, statutory and administrative aspects of function of UCBs.
